New-Mar
Aviation Systems are designed and developed to ensure maximum safety for
handling aviation fuel. The fuel system of today's sophisticated turbine engine
are susceptible to contamination resulting in engine failure. It is necessary to
exercise the most stringent control over the quality of the fuel used.
An Aviation Refuelling Facility should
provide of the following:- A sufficient quantity of fuel to allow aircraft to be flown to fulfill
operational requirements.
A safe and efficient facility for refuelling aircraft on the landing area,
and to establish the quality and quantity of fuel to be used.
To safe guard against presence of water in fuel, dirt or foreign material,
accidental damage to equipment or fire.
P. W. Adamson Ltd. has the capability to design and supply Aviation Fuel Systems of all types and sizes including:-
- Portable Aviation Fuel Tanks.
- Bulk Storage Packages.
- Portable Systems.
- Trailer Mounted Units.
- Pump Unit:- This normally consists of two electric or air driven pumps. The interconnecting pipework, strainer and non-return valves are all in stainless steel.
- Filter / Water Separator:- This unit is required to mimimise the possibility of water entering the Fuel Delivery System.
- Dispensing Unit:- This consists of a filter monitor, flowmeter with register head, hose with coupling and earth bonding reel, together with ancillary equipment.
- Weefueller:- The weefueller is a self contained portable unit which can be carried in the back of most helicopters and light aircraft, and is the smallest in the New-Mar range. Petrol/diesel engine, or electric driven, the weefueller delivers Jet A1 from fuel drums, bladder tanks, tank trailers etc. The unit comes complete with suction and delivery hoses, filter, over-wing nozzle and earth bonding reels.
